Laughing Squid updates WordPress Core when a stable release is made available.
Daily Backups
Managed WordPress plans do daily backups at approximately 2:30 AM UTC. Customers can use third party tools, such as Jetpack, to backup their sites automatically. In addition they can leverage Rackspace Cloud Files or Amazon Web Services to acquire the same daily copy.
Hardware Monitoring
Laughing Squid monitors server performance 24/7.
Site Monitoring
The customer can use third party tools, such as Jetpack or Uptime Robot, to monitor site availability.
Site Performance
The customer can use third party tools, such as GT Metrix or tools.pingdom, to monitor site performance.
Plugin/theme Installation
The customer will install their own plugins/themes and manage their settings.
Plugin/theme Updates
The customer should update all plugins/themes, other than Jetpack and Akismet which we will manage.
Troubleshooting
Laughing Squid will review error logs and provide you with information to help troubleshoot problems on your site.
Customizing – Themes, Plugins, Etc. (Settings)
The customer will be responsible for making modifications to plugins, themes and any Core settings.
Ticket Based Support
Laughing Squid will provide ticket-based email support during normal business hours.
Phone Support
Laughing Squid will not provide phone-based support.
Basic Code Modification
The customer will be responsible for making code modifications.
